Perrier Canadian Entertainment is a non-profit company established to help Promote & Support Children's Charities of Canada through the development, production, & promotion, of the Canadian & International Music Industry.

Description:

"The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" will be the largest event to ever be produced in Newfoundland & Labrador history. We will be acquiring some of the world's best entertainment to play for Newfoundlanders & Labradorians on Labour Day Weekend 2011. We feel that the event should be called "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" because it will be held on the Labour Day Weekend and will be in support of selected Children's Charities of Newfoundland & Labrador.

Purpose of The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend:

The purpose behind "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" is to raise funds for selected Children's Charities of Newfoundland & Labrador and to help fight child abuse and to bring awareness to these selected charities.

Also it will produce great exposure for the companies involved by providing representation of their product and logos throughout the event.

Charities:

The following is the Charity that we feel should benefit from "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend". This Charity has been contacted and we may choose others. "Janeway Children's Hospital".

75% of total event profits will be spent directly towards helping children through selected children's charities of our choice.

All company bank accounts belonging to Perrier Canadian Entertainment will be viewable by the public live from the Perrier Canadian Entertainment website from a link that will direct you to a bank of our choice. Any transactions made from the Perrier Canadian Entertainment bank accounts will be viewable by the public here. Any time there is a withdrawal/deposit into the Perrier Canadian Entertainment bank accounts there will be a detailed description on how the money was generated and/or how the money has been dispersed.

The children's charities we will select will also have signing power on the specific bank account that Perrier Canadian Entertainment will be using to hold the money from that particular event.

Perrier Canadian Entertainment will be posting all of its official company bookwork LIVE on the Internet for the public to view and will be regularly updated.

Entertainment:

"The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" will be like no other event weekend in Newfoundland & Labrador history due to the caliber of entertainment. We will be approaching AC/DC, ZZ TOP, ELTON JOHN, BON JOVI, BOB SEGER & THE SILVER BULLET BAND, FLEETWOOD MAC, MOTLEY CRUE, GUNS N' ROSES, TOM PETTY, plus many more. We will be having discussions with Rick Mercer, well known from CBC's "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" & "Made In Canada" to come down as a host for the event. There will also be a request sent to Wayne Gretzky, Don Cherry, Natasha Henstridge (Actress from Newfoundland), and as well as other known celebrities. Of course we cannot forget our very own local talent such as Conamara, Celtic Connection, Cory Tetford, Fables, etc.

Location:

Location: Central Newfoundland, which makes it accessible to all people in Newfoundland & Labrador and to Tourists from around North America & Europe, also due to being near Gander International Airport. This concert will attract people from all over Canada, North America & around the world.

Venue: Undisclosed venue in the central Newfoundland area that is large enough to please any band that we will be acquiring. This field can over 100,000 people. Expecting 75,000 people over duration of weekend and with a full year to prepare we can possibly attract over 100,000 people.

Camping: There are fields that we will have access to and they are capable of holding a total of 5000 -10000 campsites possibly more.

Site Breakdown:

Beer Garden: A field that is enclosed by chain link fence with an entrance and one exit. There will be a large number of portable washrooms and selected food vendors.

Concessions: In the field there will be a set area for all food concessions. There will also be a small picnic-play area for families.

Main Gate: This is an area that will be setup to control the access to the main field. All ticket sales, collection, and baggage search will happen here.

Backstage & VIP: This is a highly secure area that will be only available to people with All Access, VIP, Media and Back Stage passes. It is very important that this is kept private because it is the sanctuary of the Artists as well as the Operations center of the show. The VIP area will be setup as a place to meet and greet as well as a place for the artists to relax. There will be food and beverages provided in the VIP area.

Camping: This is the large parcel of land, it is within a five-minute walk to the concert site. We will be able to hold approximately 5 - 10 thousand campsites in this area and will be defined as an open camping area. The campers in this area will be required to sign waivers that states that they can not move their vehicles once parked and we have the right to eject them for indecent behavior.

Security & Event Staff:

All security will be hired based on experience and their ability to deal with the public. Most of the general staff will be hired locally, but most of the Supervisors will be brought in from St. John's due to their experience.

Hiring For Required Staff For The Development:

Staff: 3 to 4 full time administration staff.

Phones: Dedicated phone lines to this project with a 1-800 number.

Box Office: An establishment that will be able to sell tickets for the event over the counter as well as over the Internet, and phone.

Travel: Some of the Acts will require traveling to meet and greet as well as a number of trips to the Town of ********.

Promotion For "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend":

Labour Day Weekend Celebrations:

Since Labour Day weekend of 2011 is officially Sept 5th, we would like to schedule "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" to be held on Sept 2, 3, & 4 of the Labour Day weekend. A weekend that all Canadians love to celebrate, most Canadians making plans to make Labour Day weekend a special and exciting time.

Prizes For "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend":

There will be 16 prizes that will be drawn for at the event ranging from:

Sponsors names being held back for now.

(2) 4 Wheel Drive Truck.
(2) 4 Wheel Drive ATV.
(2) Free College Entry.
(2) Trip for two anywhere *** ****** flies.
(2) Full computer office center (desk, chair, computer, software, cable Internet for a year etc.)

(2) 52 cases of beer.

There are 2 of each prize, one to be awarded each night of the event.

Marketing For "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend":

The marketing for "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" will be widespread throughout Canada. "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" will be defined as an event destination for Labour Day Weekend 2011. We will be advertising in tourism booklets as well as on the Internet around the world. There will be a heavy campaign in Atlantic Canada through radio, posters and newsprint.

We will acquire a 1-800 number for ticket sales, and tickets will be available over the Internet.

Media that we will have in attendance for "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" will be CMT, Much Music, MTV, ASN, ATV, and local media such as NTV and K-Rock.

We will be approaching Much Music in Canada to tape and broadcast "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" LIVE. The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend promotion on Much Music (have 10 contest winners, each contest winner consists of that person and a friend) from around Canada fly in for the show. They would get hotels paid and $250.00 spending money.

Promotion For "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" INTERNATIONAL:

We also will be approaching a radio station in the USA, New York City & Mexico, Mexico City and will fly 1 contest winner (each contest winner consists of that person and a friend) in from New York City, USA also Mexico City, Mexico to "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend", again, they would also get hotels paid and $250.00 spending money.

We will also have Microsoft broadcast "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend", LIVE VIA Internet from the Microsoft website.

Flying The Skies To "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend":

We will be approaching Air Canada so anyone presenting concert tickets for "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" through an Air Canada ticket agent anywhere in the world will receive a discount on airfare to Gander International Airport, Newfoundland.

On The Road For "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend":

Perrier Canadian Entertainment will be on the road with 2 stretched limousines (mobile offices), proudly displaying all "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" logos, traveling through our province of Newfoundland & Labrador, and Atlantic Canada promoting "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend", pulling over people who display our local radio station (97.5 K-ROCK) sticker and awarding them prizes for "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend", including T-shirts, caps, leather jackets, $50 cash awards, free concert tickets, and VIP passes. K-ROCK "New Cap Broadcasting" owns a number of radio stations across Atlantic Canada. We will tape and broadcast some of our "The Great Perrier Canadian Weekend" road winners. This will be apart of our television promotion.
